Helen Christofi
Web Development & Design
Helen is a hybrid creative-technologist with over 20 years of design experience and 12+ years in web development. Starting from an architectural background, she transitioned into UI/UX, branding, and full-stack development — combining artistic sensibility with technical precision. Her work spans from print to digital, from t-shirt design to complex CMS platforms and headless web architectures. Helen co-founded Dondake to bring together her diverse skill set in one offering — delivering not just websites, but full brand ecosystems, marketing strategies, and immersive content experiences.
Outside of client work, Helen is one of the lead organisers of Cyprus Comic Con since its founding in 2012, overseeing stage production, celebrity coordination, infrastructure design, and digital strategy. She is deeply passionate about AI, animation, and spooky-cute design, and brings that flair to both creative and technical executions. A perfectionist with a strategic mind, she thrives on crafting details that resonate with users, clients, and fans alike.
Helen is a multidisciplinary creative and technical lead with over 20 years of experience in graphic design and more than a decade in full-stack web development. Originally trained in architecture at the University of Kent, she pivoted into web technologies and digital media, quickly becoming an expert in tools like React, Gatsby, and Bootstrap. Her approach blends code with creativity, crafting visually engaging and functionally robust digital experiences.
She is also an expert in branding, UI/UX, content strategy, and multimedia production. Helen's career has spanned building international websites, brand systems, investor materials, and custom digital illustrations. At Dondake, she leads both technical and creative strategy, from visual design and marketing to code architecture.
As a co-founder of Cyprus Comic Con, Helen has played a key role in its evolution since 2012, overseeing everything from visual branding and website development to stage programming and celebrity coordination.
